Semifinal 1:
The semifnal clash between Sarvesh & Girish was held last evening at 7: 00 PM at the Cedars of Edina Racquet ball dome. The match saw a fancied Girish struggle to get his game right against Sarvesh's precise placement and powerplay.

Sarvesh broke away quite early in the game to lead 10-0 , before Girish managed to salvage a few points. The game was eventually taken by Sarvesh at 15-5.

The second game too looked to be going the same way when Girish broke serve at 11-14 and then went on to win at 16-14.

Bad weather conditions forced the decider to the next day.

Semifinal 2:
The Second semifinal clash between Kannan and Raj got underway right after and saw the two of them in action after a few initial warm up shots. Raj making a comeback ala Agassi style after a long lay off due to domestic pressures looked out of touch and lost a few points early on in failing to judge the boards and bounce. By the time he had got back in form the game was well away from his reach. Kannan took the first game 14-8. The rest of the matches would be conducted on Wednesday. watch this space for more news.

Rules:
1. All the players who have been declared fit and available have been selected to play.
2.People who have not produced their fitness certificates and are suffering from Tennis Elbow have been given sufficient time to recover and regain match fitness so as to enable their participation in future tournaments.
3. Due to a shortage of time the First round will consist of just 1 game while the knock rounds will be a best of 3.
4. In case of any disputes during the match the decision of the referee shall be final and binding.
5. Violent & Indecent behavior will attract immediate disqualification. The decision of the referee and the organizers will be final and binding.
6. Players are expected to report at the venue 5 minutes prior to the start of their match. Players who are late by more than 7 minutes will forfeit their matches and the player present will be declared the winner.
7. Bonus points will be given to the players who bring the right audience to the court so as the inspire the players. ( This rule applies only for bachelors)
8. Ashok Wines Ltd and Kishore Pachidi Home Foods Pvt ltd the chief sponsors for the event assume no responsibilities incase of any cancellations due to the Climatic, Political or domestic conditions and no refund of tickets would be given at any point.
